DESCRIPTION:La Journée mondiale de l’eau\, qui a lieu le 22 mars de chaque année depuis 1993\, est une célébration des Nations Unies qui met l’accent sur l’importance de l’eau douce. \nLa Journée mondiale de l’eau célèbre l’eau et sensibilise à la situation des 2\,2 milliards de personnes qui vivent sans accès à de l’eau salubre. Il s’agit de prendre des mesures pour lutter contre la crise mondiale de l’eau. L’un des principaux objectifs de la Journée mondiale de l’eau est de soutenir la réalisation de l’objectif de développement durable 6 : eau propre et assainissement\, pour tous d’ici à 2030.

SUMMARY:Reclaiming Power and Place Stories
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Indigenous\, Local and Global Health Office’s Equity Film Series where we will engage in discussions about social and health equity issues facing the communities we work with. \nIn partnership with Awo Taan Healing Lodge Society and Mike Lang Stories\, we wish to share the stories of family members of missing and murdered Indigenous women\, girls and two spirit people to call attention to the truth and the importance of trauma informed care. These digital stories were developed as part of a larger project which aimed to increase awareness of culturally appropriate care\, and understanding of the impacts of colonization and systemic racism on healthcare. \nFollowing the screening\, there will be a panel discussion with members of Awo Taan\, the producer of the digital stories\, Mike Lang\, and Associate Dean\, Indigenous\, Dr. Lindsay Crowshoe. \n\nREGISTER
