SUMMARY:CSO roundtable with WHO's Regional Director for Africa\, Dr Matshidiso Moeti
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you to join CanWaCH and Results Canada for a civil society roundtable with the World Health Organization’s Regional Director for Africa\, Dr. Matshidiso Moeti\, who will be visiting Ottawa on November 23-25 to meet with Canadian senior officials and parliamentarians. This represents the highest-level visit from the WHO to Ottawa in years. \nDr. Moeti is keen to engage civil society partners during her visit. Therefore\, Results Canada and CanWaCH are co-hosting a CSO roundtable on November 24\, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET to reflect on key issues\, including: health priorities across the African region; the leadership role of Canada in health diplomacy and in reshaping WHO; and\, lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic to build back better. \nThis will be a hybrid event. \nIf you wish to participate in person\, please RSVP to hanna@resultscanada.ca.
