DESCRIPTION:À l’échelle mondiale\, l’incertitude revêt de nombreuses formes; la guerre en Ukraine\, le déclin de l’indice de développement humain\, l’instabilité économique et les catastrophes climatiques\, entre autres\, et entraîne une multitude de perturbations dans la vie quotidienne. \nComme l’indique le Rapport mondial sur le développement humain 2021-2022 du PNUD\, « dans l’histoire d’incertitude que nous vivons actuellement\, le héros et le méchant ne font qu’un\, c’est le choix humain ». Comment nos choix continuels peuvent-ils influencer notre monde de demain? \nDans le cadre de la Semaine canadienne du développement international (SDI)\, la Fondation Aga Khan Canada et Coopération Canada organisent un événement abordant la question de l’avenir dans l’incertitude. Le Rapport sur le développement humain 2021-2022 du PNUD servira de base à une discussion importante entre les décideurs et les hauts responsables du développement international\, sur l’incertitude et les responsabilités que nous avons tous pour faire progresser le développement humain. \nM. Pedro Conceição\, Chef du Bureau du Rapport sur le développement humain et auteur principal du rapport\, prononcera un discours liminaire pour mettre en lumière les principaux thèmes du rapport\, suivi de sa participation à un débat d’expertes. Il participera ensuite à une discussion en panel. DESCRIPTION:Women\, girls and gender-diverse folk worldwide remain systemically disadvantaged and under-represented in positions of power\, both here in Canada and across the globe.
