SUMMARY:Webinaire sur le Renforcement de la distribution et de l’utilisation des vaccins en Afrique : comment la recherche peut-elle aider?
DESCRIPTION:Joignez-vous à un groupe diversifié d’experts qui présenteront leurs points de vue et identifieront des solutions pour soutenir et accélérer la distribution et l’utilisation des vaccins en Afrique lors d’un webinaire le 21 février. Nous organisons le deuxième de notre série de webinaires de 90 minutes sur les défis et les opportunités de renforcement de la distribution et de l’utilisation des vaccins en Afrique. Veuillez vous joindre à nous pour en savoir plus sur cette initiative internationale. \nL’Union africaine s’est fixé un objectif ambitieux de développer\, produire et distribuer au moins 60 % des vaccins pour l’Afrique d’ici 2040 et a établi des partenariats pour la fabrication de vaccins en Afrique afin de renforcer la résilience de l’approvisionnement sur le continent. Il vise à accroître la sécurité sanitaire sur tout le continent et dans le monde. À l’heure actuelle\, moins de 0\,1 % de l’approvisionnement mondial en vaccins est fabriqué en Afrique\, et seulement 1 % des vaccins déployés en Afrique sont fabriqués sur le continent. \nD’autres partenaires\, comme Affaires mondiales Canada\, la Fondation Mastercard et le CRDI\, investissent également dans cet objectif. L’Initiative mondiale pour l’équité vaccinale (IMEVCan) d’Affaires mondiales Canada a investi 317 millions de dollars canadiens pour augmenter la vaccination contre la COVID-19 parmi les groupes prioritaires\, renforcer la capacité du système de santé et diversifier la capacité de fabrication de vaccins dans 12 pays cibles\, dont la plupart sont en Afrique. Le programme Sauver des vies et des moyens de subsistance de la Fondation Mastercard vise à sécuriser les vaccins d’au moins 50 millions de personnes et à faciliter l’administration des vaccins à des millions d’autres à travers l’Afrique. Le CRDI finance des recherches visant à déterminer les défis et les enjeux associés à l’intensification de la fabrication et de la distribution de vaccins en Afrique\, et à accélérer l’adoption et l’utilisation de nouveaux vaccins à mesure qu’ils sont déployés. \nLa discussion se déroulera en anglais avec interprétation en français. \nCette table ronde\, coparrainée par le CRDI et Affaires mondiales Canada\, est le deuxième d’une série visant à partager des renseignements et des pratiques exemplaires\, et à cerner des moyens de surmonter les défis qui nous attendent.  \nInscrivez-vous ici!

Together we will review the software’s potential for designing surveys\, creating charts and tables\, and coding.
