SUMMARY:CSW68 Parallel Event: Intersectional perspectives on climate change and poverty reduction in Africa
DESCRIPTION:Dans un monde où les plus marginalisées sont les plus touchées par le changement climatique\, les inégalités structurelles dues au sexisme et au validisme exacerbent la pauvreté des femmes et les empêchent de s’engager dans une action transformatrice. Les oratrices aborderont les défis urgents et persistants auxquels sont confrontées les femmes aux identités croisées ; elles montreront comment les femmes handicapées du Rwanda sont des agentes du changement\, promouvant une adaptation climatique juste du point de vue du genre et du handicap. Une perspective autochtone intersectionnelle du Kenya sera discutée.
