DESCRIPTION:Join us to explore how gender-transformative work is driving real impact in nutrition and health. This webinar will feature practical country examples from CARE Canada and Save the Children Canada\, showcasing how the Gender Transformative Framework for Nutrition (GTFN) and the Systems-Based Thinking (SBT) tool are being applied in South Sudan and Yemen to strengthen equity\, inclusion\, and resilience. \n\n\nThrough case presentations and a panel discussion with implementing partners and members of the GTFN co-creation group\, participants will gain insights into what gender-transformative programming looks like in practice – and how it can shift systems\, empower communities\, and improve outcomes for women\, men\, and marginalized groups. \n\n\n\nParticipants will gain: \n\nA clear understanding of why gender-transformative approaches matter for nutrition and health outcomes.\nPractical knowledge of how to apply GTFN and SBT tools in diverse contexts.\nLessons learned and examples from South Sudan and Yemen that can inform their own work.\nInsights into what it takes to turn gender commitments into meaningful action across contexts.\n\n\nThe webinar will be conducted in English\, with simultaneous interpretation in French and Arabic. \nAttend here!

DESCRIPTION:Rejoignez-nous le mercredi 29 octobre pour le webinaire de la série AVA intitulé Mères en tête: renforcer la relation mère-enfant après un traumatisme avec Lisa Sura et Sarah Woods du Child Development Institute (CDI). \nMercredi 29 octobre 2025 \n14 h – 15 h 30 EDT \nLes traumatismes relationnels\, notamment les maltraitances infantiles\, la négligence et la violence conjugale\, peuvent influencer l’éducation des mères\, leur relation avec leur jeune enfant et leur perception d’elles-mêmes en tant que parent. Développé par le CDI pour combler une lacune avérée dans les services\, Mothers in Mind® (MIM) est un programme thérapeutique de groupe mère-enfant\, tenant compte des traumatismes\, conçu pour les mères* de nourrissons et de jeunes enfants ayant subi un traumatisme relationnel. \nCe webinaire présentera l’approche d’intervention précoce centrée sur l’enfant du MIM\, démontrant comment le programme s’appuie sur les atouts parentaux\, favorise des liens sains entre la mère et l’enfant et aide les mères à faire preuve d’autocompassion tout en développant des stratégies de soins sensibles et réactives. Les adaptations du modèle et les résultats de l’évaluation du programme seront également abordés. \nEn Vedette \nLisa Sura\, M.S.S.\, T.S.I.\, est responsable principale du programme clinique au Child Development Institute (CDI)\, un organisme agréé de santé mentale pour enfants et adolescents de Toronto. Lisa possède plus de 20 ans d’expérience dans l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre de services d’intervention et de prévention novateurs dans les secteurs de la santé mentale des enfants\, de la protection de l’enfance et de la violence fondée sur le genre. Lisa est co-créatrice et responsable clinique de Mothers in Mind\, un programme thérapeutique de groupe mère-enfant tenant compte des traumatismes\, spécialement conçu pour répondre aux besoins parentaux des mères ayant vécu un traumatisme relationnel et ayant des enfants de moins de quatre ans. \nSarah Woods\, Ph. D.\, est directrice de l’impact et de la mise à l’échelle au sein du département de mise à l’échelle\, de la recherche et du développement du CDI. Ses recherches portent sur l’agressivité et les comportements perturbateurs chez les enfants\, la violence sexiste\, l’évaluation des risques\, la justice pour les jeunes\, la science de la mise en œuvre\, l’évaluation des programmes et les programmes fondés sur des données probantes. En tant que chercheuse principale\, Sarah dirige le suivi et l’évaluation des programmes et services du CDI afin de mesurer leur efficacité et les résultats des traitements. Elle soutient également la mise en œuvre du programme SNAP\, un cadre global de santé mentale et de prévention de la criminalité chez les enfants\, qui comprend des mécanismes d’orientation\, des évaluations des risques et des besoins et des programmes fondés sur des données probantes. \nInscrivez-vous ici !
