DESCRIPTION:March 7 – 10\, 2024 | Virtual and In-Person\nCUGH’s annual conference is a must attend event on the global health calendar. Over 2\,000 scientists\, students and implementers from academia\, NGOs\, government and the private sector will present\, learn and collaborate to address some of the pressing challenges our world faces. A wide range of medical and non-medical disciplines are represented throughout the in-person pre-conference satellite sessions (free to attend\, register online) and the March 7-10th conference. DESCRIPTION:Cet événement en marge de la CSW68 aborde les défis persistants qui entravent la réalisation des SDG\, en particulier SDG5 et SDG8\, en mettant l’accent sur le rôle critique du travail de soins non rémunéré dans la réalisation de l’autonomisation économique\, en particulier pour les femmes. Les femmes assument des responsabilités disproportionnées en matière de soins\, ce qui entraîne un déficit en temps et en actifs qui limite leur autonomie financière et économique\, leurs possibilités de leadership public ainsi que l’accès aux services de protection sociale. Les panélistes\, dont SATHI\, une organisation basée au Bangladesh\, le gouvernement du Canada\, UNWOMEN\, la République du Sénégal\, World Renew\, ACT Alliance et OCIC\, partageront leurs idées\, leurs meilleures pratiques\, les perspectives des jeunes et les leçons tirées de la mise en œuvre des programmes d’autonomisation économique des femmes et des orientations politiques qui peuvent accélérer la réalisation de l’égalité des sexes et de l’éradication de la pauvreté.
