CSO roundtable with WHO’s Regional Director for Africa, Dr Matshidiso Moeti

We are pleased to invite you to join CanWaCH and Results Canada for a civil society roundtable with the World Health Organization’s Regional Director for Africa, Dr. Matshidiso Moeti, who will be visiting Ottawa on November 23-25 to meet with Canadian senior officials and parliamentarians. This represents the highest-level visit from the WHO to Ottawa in years.

Dr. Moeti is keen to engage civil society partners during her visit. Therefore, Results Canada and CanWaCH are co-hosting a CSO roundtable on November 24, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET to reflect on key issues, including: health priorities across the African region; the leadership role of Canada in health diplomacy and in reshaping WHO; and, lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic to build back better.

This will be a hybrid event.
