Are you a healthcare student? Are you interested to practice your French? If so, come to our first Franco-Santé event of the year! The « Olympiades de la Santé » is an event where we’ll be doing activities in French related to the healthcare field, such as playing quizzes and games. All levels of French are welcome! It is our kick-off event so there will be food ? drinks?prizes ?, which will all be FREE!

You can’t come? Don’t worry, we’ll have other fun events during the year (including meetings with health professionals, simulation of health visits, and inter-faculty games). The Franco-Santé project:
Franco-Santé is a program that provides a space for francophone and francophile health care students attending English-language post-secondary institutions (in any discipline of health) to practice their French through fun activities, games, and connecting with fellow students. It is funded by Health Canada and led by the Société Santé en Français (SSF). The goal of the initiative is to help students recognize the importance of French as one of Canada’s official languages and enable them to use it in their medical careers in order to be able to better serve francophones across the country.
