BCCH and the Institute for Global Health invites you to attend our Research in Progress Series, a monthly interactive forum designed to share ongoing and emerging research, discuss methodological approaches, and foster scientific dialogue, cross-disciplinary exchange, and collaboration across the research community. These sessions provide an opportunity to engage with research at various stages of the research lifecycle through brief presentations followed by discussion-focused conversation.

Daniel Leung (Clinical Assistant Professor, UBC & Professorship in Global Child Health, BC Children’s Hospital) will present quantitative work related to clinical prediction tools and decision-support approaches for pediatric diarrhea, highlighting ongoing research focused on improving pediatric clinical decision-making and care delivery.
About the Research Group:
This work is from the Leung Lab, led by Daniel Leung. His research focuses on the immunology, microbiology, epidemiology, and clinical management of diarrheal diseases and other mucosal infections, with extensive experience working in Bangladesh and globally.
