The One Drop Foundation is looking for a Manager, Monitoring, evaluation, research and learning to work closely with the International Programs team. Under the supervision of the Social Art for Behaviour Change Senior Director, your responsibility will be to strengthen the credibility, the image and impact of the Foundation. Through diverse innovative strategies, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the international community of practice as well as internal teams and external partners. As a creative leader in the WASH and behaviour change ecosystems, you will strategically position the Foundation.

Key responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Social Art for Behaviour Change Senior Director, the Manager of monitoring, evaluation, research and learning will collect data and produce evidence for all projects while highlighting the results of behaviour change interventions:

  • Support the Program’s team and leverage the Lazos de Agua experience to apply learnings in new projects
  • Support the implementation partners in the development of data collection strategies, methodologies and tools related to the SABC approach
  • Ensure that the tools related to the gender strategy are systematically used and integrated in the SABC co-design, monitoring and evaluation phases
  • Update the indicators generated by the projects across the organization dashboards
  • Create productivity matrix
  • Contribute to the development of climate action strategies and tools and facilitate its operationalization/execution for One Drop and its partners

SABC Research and knowledge creation

  • Support the development of global indicators, including systemic KPIs, based on One Drop’s three roles in terms of scaling out, scaling up and scaling deep.
  • Mobilize as many stakeholders as possible (scale-out)
  • Reach the decision-making institutions (scale-up)
  • Deepen learnings (scale-deep)
  • Develop academic partnerships and cultivate relations with universities or other research institutions
  • Develop an internal learning calendar (continued learning) to strengthen organizational capacities related to SABC research interests
  • Develop strategies and innovative methodologies to showcase the impact of SABC
  • Ensure the integration of digital tools and processes in research and knowledge creation
  • Contribute to the creation of “Web-in-Arts” material and interactive sessions (webinars) with the international community of practice

Coaching on MEL with an SABC emphasis

  • Coach the One Drop and project teams on the diverse MEL strategies, tools, and processes
  • Develop standardized operational processes for data management, reporting and support for MEL projects

Reporting and scaling

  • Write case studies, scientific articles, visual narratives intend for a broad audience
  • Participate in the production of donor reports
  • Participate in the One Drop Foundation’s Impact Report
  • Support the One Drop Foundation’s Communication Officer in creating and editing pedagogical content
  • Represent the One Drop Foundation at conferences, webinars and other events
  • Other related tasks

Your experience

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar job, ideally in the international development or sustainability sector
  • Experience or interest in working with socially minded organizations
  • Experience or interest in creating scientific, brand and/or philanthropic content

Your skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or in a related field
  • Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) in program evaluation (desired)
  • Excellent command of information technologies
  • Strong research and information dissemination skills
  • Excellent written and oral command of the English, French and Spanish languages
  • Superior writing skills in all three (3) languages
  • Good command of advanced features of Windows and MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
