Together against TB: A World TB Day discussion on taking action to #endTB

23 mars 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Before the pandemic, tuberculosis (TB) was the world’s leading infectious disease killer, despite being both preventable and curable. COVID-19 and associated health system disruptions are proving to be devastating for people affected by TB. This World TB Day (March 24), join us for an open discussion with distinguished speakers who will share their valuable experience and insights on how we can work together to take meaningful, high-impact action to end both TB and COVID-19 once and for all.

Featured speakers: Dr. Joia Mukherjee; Priya Amin; Tina Cambpell

Here is what you can expect to learn:
• how people affected by TB in Canada and around the world are being impacted by the pandemic
• what the associated needs are in terms of TB policies, programs, and resources
• how individuals and communities can take meaningful action by understanding the needs that shape policy and program agendas

There will be time to interact with other participants, plus a question and answer period to wrap it all up. We hope you will leave feeling motivated to take action to end TB.

*Disclaimer: This webinar is 1.5 hour and will be recorded and then shared with attendees and those unable to join.
