UNICEF Canada Youth Advocacy Summit Showcase 2025
November 20 is recognized as National Child Day in Canada, and World Children’s Day internationally. National Child Day commemorates Canada’s adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and is a moment to shine a spotlight on the most pressing issues facing children and youth in Canada.
On November 20, join UNICEF Canada, youth advocates, partner organizations, and decision-makers for an intergenerational event to hear directly from young people about their ideas and recommendations on Children’s Rights, Climate Change, Education, Governance and Systems Change, and Healthcare.
Youth advocates will also launch the 2025 Reimagine Playbook. Hosted in partnership with Children’s Healthcare Canada, Inspiring Healthy Futures, Plan International, Jack.org, the Students Commission of Canada, Campaign 2000, Equitas, YMCA Canada, and BGC Canada.
