Know our team
Nutrition International’s External Relations (ER) unit is a diverse team of dedicated professionals responsible for the development and implementation of advocacy and communications priorities across the organization. The unit leads, coordinates and supports global government relations, global advocacy and business development with institutional donors, as well as media relations, corporate and digital communications, and the Nutrition International brand. The ER unit works closely with other teams across the organization to grow and diversify resources for Nutrition International’s global strategy and Investment Case, drive thought leadership, and grow global support for nutrition, and Nutrition International. Members of the ER team are located in Nutrition International’s Headquarters in Ottawa, Canada as well as our Asia and Africa Regional Offices.
About you
Are you passionate about telling stories and looking for the chance to join a global team of communications professionals? Nutrition International is looking for a Communications Officer to support our new Global Storytelling Initiative, a project that will see the development of videos, blogs, interviews and other content that ‘tells the story’ of our work in an engaging way. You are someone who has strong writing skills to support the development of both written and multimedia products, as well as interview experience to conduct ‘pre-interviews’ for research or production planning.

This one-year contract will support our Storytelling Manager and team of dedicated writers, designers, and communications professionals to launch and execute our initiative.
