About this Opportunity
The Communications Officer, IPP, is a dynamic and culturally responsive role within our organization. This individual will collaborate closely with the Director of Indigenous Programs & Partnerships and the Communications team to amplify the voices and stories of Indigenous communities through thoughtful and respectful communication strategies.
This role is pivotal in fostering understanding and awareness of Indigenous cultures and perspectives, ensuring that our communication materials reflect a commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti-racism and anti-oppression.
This position requires a deep understanding of and respect for Indigenous cultures, strong digital content creation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. A commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti-racism is essential.
