Learning Journey on CARE’s Climate Vulnerability and Capacity Analysis (CVCA)

The CARE Climate & Resilience Academy is excited to share that our renewed online Learning Journey on CARE’s Climate Vulnerability and Capacity Analysis (CVCA) will welcome a new cohort in February 2026, and you can enroll now! This 4-month online training equips you with the skills and knowledge to apply the CVCA Tool to assess climate vulnerabilities and adaptive capacities.

CARE’s CVCA is a participatory tool that combines community-level and secondary research to assess climate vulnerabilities and adaptive capacities. It highlights gender, ecosystem, and governance as cross-cutting concerns and supports the design of locally led, gender-responsive resilience actions.

The 16-week CVCA Learning Journey zooms in on all seven steps of the CVCA through a mix of self-paced learning, practical assignments, and peer exchange facilitated by our esteemed expert facilitators. Secure your spot and submit the Expression of Interest HERE

This paid training will be facilitated in English and is open to CARE staff and external audiences, so please share this opportunity with peers and partners.

You’re also invited to join our upcoming Information Sessions on the course, which will be via Zoom on January 14, 2026, at 9:30 & 16:30 Central European Time. During this 30-minute webinar, we’ll share more specifics about the learning journey and open the floor to any burning questions.
