FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund

The FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund is a bold new initiative to expand access to quality education and football for children around the world. With the goal of raising over $100 million by the 2026 World Cup Final, the Fund will support education efforts and FIFA’s Football for Schools program across more than 200 countries.

The Fund aims to expand access to quality education, literacy, and football for 100,000 children worldwide, aligning with the global average investment of $1,000 per K–12 student annually. This initiative marks a significant step forward in our mission to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Organizations working to provide education and sports programming for children in underserved communities around the world are invited to apply for grants of up to $250,000 USD. The first cohort of grantees will be announced in early 2026.
