Job purpose
Youth & Advocacy audiences serve as key partners to help drive our World Vision Canada brand forward. We’re looking to create purposeful and lasting relationships with our audiences that inspire them to join us on our mission to do more for more children. If you are deeply passionate about Youth and Advocacy and thrive from doing amazing, impactful, and purposeful work that makes a real and lasting difference in the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children, then you could be the perfect fit to join World Vision Canada (WVC) and our award-winning Public Engagement team as our Officer of Youth Engagement & Advocacy.
In this newly created role, you will lead public advocacy and youth engagement initiatives and campaigns that further the rights of children and raises awareness on issues faced by vulnerable children. The Officer serves as WVC’s representative to external stakeholder groups including, but not limited to, campus clubs, youth groups and youth partners/organizations with the purpose of developing long-term relationships and achieving World Vision’s non-financial public engagement goals. You will help drive award winning campaigns such as No Child for Sale, and advocacy outreach that leverages channels such as Voices that reach Canadians across the country.
