Know our team

Nutrition International’s Program Operations Unit is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Nutrition International’s core program interventions including program development, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, and grant management, including setting annual operational planning, budgeting and review processes. The unit comprises a global team of professionals located in our 10 core countries across Asia, Africa and our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada.

About you

You have a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, public health, international development and/or a related field. You have 3 years of work experience with NGOs, and/or UN agencies working with public health, food security, and/or nutrition related programs. You are an excellent communicator and are able to collaborate across units and geographies successfully.

About the role

In this role you will:

  • Provide project management support to the global grant manager to improve the implementation of designated projects or programs.
  • Liaise with Nutrition International’s Global Technical Services, Communications and Corporate Services teams to ensure adequate technical oversight, quality assurance and support services of assigned key projects.
  • Work closely with members of the Regional and Headquarters’-based Monitoring and Reporting team to support annual donor and periodic management reporting.
  • Support the development of headquarters’-initiated contracts from initiation through signing and final payments for designated projects or programs.

This is a 12-month contract.
