Haut de la pageKey achievements include successfully reaching a total of 229,089 (85,238M; 143,851F) beneficiaries, exceeding the target of 125,723[1] (70211F, 55512M)
(182% achievement of target) for providing community-based nutrition, mental health, psychosocial support, and essential SRHR services such as antenatal care, postnatal care, family planning, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) prevention. Gender-responsive approaches were used across the project. For example, to respond to the lack of women’s access to health services, eight mobile health teams were deployed to underserved areas (areas over 5km from health facilities) which resulted in a significant overachievement of the female target (143,851 females served), underscoring the effective deployment of resources and a strong commitment to addressing gender-specific needs in crisis-affected areas. Provincial participation varied, with Kunduz achieving the highest outreach.
[1] The target for this indicator has been slightly increased from the original 124,123 to 125,723. This adjustment primarily reflects the inclusion of 1,600 female beneficiaries who received hygiene kits procured through interest funds and distributed to eligible recipients.
